CORONATION Street star Steven Arnold was among the special guests who celebrated the official launch of a new holistic therapy business.
The Warrington actor, who plays Ashley, took time out from his dramatic scenes on the ITV soap to tour the treatment room, sip a glass of bubbly and enjoy a taster massage session at blueskyholistics in Grappenhall.
Proprietor Helen Pritchard, a former Lymm High School student, came up with the inspiration for her business after receiving blissful treatments when she was pregnant.
The mum-of-two said: "I really can sympathise with anyone who has a hectic lifestyle. I trained in holistic therapies after seeing the powerful effect they had on me and how the benefits filtered down to all areas of my life.
"Everyone enjoyed the day, especially the taster sessions, and commented on the transformation of the treatment room into a haven of tranquillity' in the heart of Grappenhall Village."
The Grappenhall salon provides relaxing treatments such as hot stone massage and reiki, offering respite from the stresses of modern life.
