Get up and Jo
WELL the weather may not have been fabulous but at least we can remember the summer of 2007 for some great concerts.
This year has to be the year of the artist comeback. As you know it all started with the amazing Take That and I can hardly control my excitement about their tour, despite that fact that I haven't got a ticket yet. But isn't that what eBay's for? The big question now is can the Spice Girls achieve the same sort of success now that they're back as the Spice Mums?
I often get asked how I cope with getting up at 3.15am every day for the Feel Good Breakfast Show. The beauty of radio of course is that no-one has to see your face at that unearthly hour, but with the help of a little Clarins Beauty Flash Eye Balm I manage to look half-awake. I'm also loving Boots No.7 Protect and Perfect serum that everyone has been going crazy for. There's scientific proof that it helps to reduce those fine lines that drive us mad - a godsend!
As I write, I'm preparing to go on holiday so I've had to get beach-ready. I booked myself into Divine Nails and Beauty in Warrington for the works - nails, pedicure, waxing, St Tropez air tan, the lot. Apart from the waxing (it's not that bad, honest) it was very relaxing.
They use some gorgeous products, so on my day off I also treated myself to a facial at Divine where they used lovely Matis products. Yes, I dozed off and probably snored too.
Then it was off to Stockton Heath for a spot of pre-holiday shopping at Is Ibizaar, a little boutique in the village that I love.
There are some fantastic pieces in there, really unusual collections from around the Med and the UK. Check out their amazing shoes!
The girls who own the boutique have very kindly offered all Limited Edition readers 10 per cent off any purchase. Just bring your copy of the magazine with you when you pop in to see Joanna or Paula!
I'm getting very excited as I'm about to jet off to Toronto to watch Toronto FC take on LA Galaxy! Yes, I'm going to watch David Beckham in action - as long as he's not struck down with another injury. A friend of mine is the Toronto coach and has got us some tickets, so I'll have all the gossip for you next time!
