JAMES Bond was in many disguises at a ball in aid of Lymm Rugby Club.

More than 250 people lived out their Hollywood fantasies at the event at Mere Golf and Country Club, which even had an Aston Martin on show.

Organiser Colette Cartwright said: “The night was both raucous and hilarious with many guests dressing as their favourite James Bond, Bond girl or famous villain.

“Dancing into the night to a live band and the opportunity to experience ‘Casino Royale’ rounded off an excellent evening for all.”

The event raised more than £10,000 for Lymm RFC’s Grass Roots Sports Appeal, a charity committed to providing a sporting community focus for Lymm and its surrounding area with a particular emphasis on young people.
