ROMANCE was in the air when Clr Doug Shingler, Mayor of Vale Royal, hosted a Valentine ball at Hartford Golf Club.
Paul Pashley, the king of swing', set the atmosphere with his vocal talents and the evening raised more than £1,000 for the mayor's charities, The Joshua Tree and Vale Royal Disability Services.
