THE April meeting opened with Beryl Bennet acting as president. We welcomed three visitors, and four more visitors from the new WI - West End Girls based in Great Sankey.
It was sadly announced that Jean Moore had resigned as president and that Beryl Bennett and Audrey Foy would step in as acting president until October.
Tuesday evenings were discussed in regards the activities planned and social events. These evenings are open to all who wish to come along and are a great way to meet new people.
There is an outing planned to Bodelwydden on June 24th.
There may also be a trip to the Coronation street set depending on numbers.
The speaker for the evening was Yasmin Limbert who took part in series two of The Great British Bake Off. She spoke about the entry process and meeting Paul and Mary but also what life was like inside the tent, She then did a demonstration on cupcake decorating which was fun and informative.
The next meeting will take place Monday May 12 at 7.15pm
