I joined Cheshire Police in 1997 and was a response officer for the first 6 years. I spent the next 6 years of my service on CID in a number of different roles I moved to Sankey Police Station as Sergeant of the Beat Management Team in January 2010.

I joined Cheshire Police in January 2004, having previously served in the Lancashire Constabulary for 16 years. Since 2005, I have worked as a uniformed sergeant on the Warrington West Neighbourhood Policing Team.

Bewsey and Whitecross is located to the West of Warrington Town Centre. It is made up of 5 housing areas that are Bewsey, Dallam, Town HIll, Whitecross and Sankey Bridges. There is a mix of Social and Privately owned hosing with a diverse population. Warrington General Hospital is located within the beat area. There are also 6 primary schools, a mosque, several churches of mixed denomination and two railway stations namely Warrington Bank Quay and Warrington Central. There are several small industrial estates and 2 retail estates as well as a heavy industrial complex.
