MEMBERS and visitors enjoyed a summer celebration at July's club night.
We had much to celebrate with members taking part in many floral festivals, including Cheshire Show, Lymm Festival's 'Art in the Garden' and helping celebrate the 50th Anniversary of Britain in Bloom. The arrangement for Britain in Bloom had to be portable, which was possible with the loan of a trolley from Sainsbury's. Members also helped to celebrate Lymm Festival by leaving small bouquets around the village for visitors to take home.
Lymm Floral Art Group meet on the third Monday of each month (except August and December) at 7.30 p.m. Lymm Parish Hall, Pepper Street, Lymm, where we watch the creation of a series of floral arrangements by a qualified and talented area or national demonstrator.
Visitors and new members who arrange flowers or simply love to watch floral art are most welcome.
