Warrington's Got Talent 2014!

The search is on for Warrington's most talented youngsters.

Warrington's Got Talent is holding open auditions for 5-19-year-olds and there are £1,000's worth of prizes up for grabs.

Auditions will be held on the following dates:

* Saturday June 21, 11am-3pm - Orford Jubilee Park, Off Winwick Road

* Saturday June 28, 2pm-6pm - Broomfield’s Leisure Centre, Appleton

* Saturday July 5, 11am-3pm - Great Sankey Leisure Centre

All acts that wish to audition must attend one of the above dates as no additional dates will be added.

Contestants must live in Warrington or be in full-time education in Warrington.

Application forms will be provided on the day and under 16s must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

The Warrington's Got Talent final will take place at Parr Hall on Saturday, September 13 and be compered by DJ Pete Pinnington.

Prizes will be awarded to those in first, second and third place in each category (five-11-year-olds and 12-19-year-olds) and given as sponsorship or goods to the value of £250 (first prize), £150 (second prize) and £100 (third prize).

Peter Mercer, Chief Executive of Golden Gates Housing Trust, said: "Now in it’s fifth year, Warrington’s Got Talent is organised by Golden Gates Housing Trust (GGHT) and LiveWire to help celebrate our young people and recognise their talent.

"The competition draws on the skills and expertise of staff from both organisations to help young people living in Warrington to develop their talents, skills and confidence.

"Warrington’s Got Talent continues to go from strength to strength and is helping young people to play a bigger role in their local communities, supported by the Warrington Guardian."
