GET your notepads and news sense at the ready as a farm attraction is on the hunt for 12 young reporters.

Red House Farm in Dunham Massey wants to celebrate its 12th anniversary by finding 12 children who will write a report about their journey through its maize maze.

This year the maze draws inspiration from Lewis Carroll, who grew up in Daresbury, and his classic Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland.

The pattern cut out of the maze forms the outline of white rabbit, using 500,000 maize plants and covering an acreage the size of six football pitches.

Junior reporters will need to capture the mood of walking through the maize crop within their written or video reports.

The deadline for the submission of reports is Wednesday.

Prizes include a free Laser Quest session while the best reporter will win a special trophy.
