GEORGE Ezra will be performing in Manchester just a week after he releases his long anticipated second album.
It has been three years since the Hertfordshire singer-songwriter released his chart-topping quadruple platinum record, Wanted On Voyage. Follow-up, Staying At Tamara’s, will be released on March 23 just days before he heads out on tour.
Ezra describes the new collection as ‘songs about escapism, dreaming, anxieties and love’ and he will be showcasing some of the tracks, including the latest single Paradise, at Manchester Apollo on March 30.
George explains that “Paradise started life as a melody that I couldn’t get out of my head. Months later I set to writing a song highlighting the undeniable feeling of meeting somebody new and falling for them.”
