TICKETS have sold out for Warrington Music's [WAM] Christmas showcase at The Auction Rooms – but you can still watch the whole gig.

In a first for the town, the concert on Saturday will be streamed on Facebook Live.

[WAM]'s The Sound of Warrington will be headlined by folk and Americana band Priestley, who recently released their debut EP No More Wasting Time.

The band includes Sam Allen and Matt Morley who met at Priestley College's performing arts department and have gone on to work with the likes of Johnny Depp and Benedict Cumberbatch.

Also playing on the night is singer-songwriter Kye Jones, alternative four-piece 16 Jackals and indie trio, The Capitals.

Students from Priestley College will be mixing and filming all four sets which can be watched at warringtonmusic.co.uk and facebook.com/warringtonmusic

Lee Harman, editor of [WAM], said: “This is truly a first for the town.

"Having a multi camera broadcast of a show, available for people to watch live across the world, will show that the present, and future of music in Warrington, is in very safe hands.

Singer and guitarist, Sam Allen, from Priestley, added: “It’s really important to us to support the music scene in Warrington.

"Over the years we have shared stages with some truly talented home grown artists and we hope to continue that tradition on Saturday."

Stage times are as follows

  • Kye Jones 8.45pm to 9.15pm
  • 16 Jackals 9.30pm to 10pm
