GARY Barlow will be playing an outdoor concert as part of Forest Live’s annual summer concert series.

The Take That star, who has won six Ivor Novello awards over the years, will be at Delamere Forest on June 9. Barlow is one of Britain’s most successful songwriters behind 14 number one singles.

With Take That he has won eight Brit awards and sold more than 45 million records while off the stage he has co-written and produced music for the likes of Shirley Bassey and Elton John.

Barlow has also recently turned his attention to the world of theatre, composing the score for Finding Neverland and working alongside Tim Firth on musicals The Girls and The Band.

Money from Forest Live gigs go towards looking after the UK’s woodlands.
