ALIVE Recording Studios is celebrating its second birthday with a night of live music from some of the bands who have benefited.

Andy Lewis opened the Newton venue to give north west artists somewhere to rehearse and record.

The studio in Patterson Street provides low cost recording, music tuition and a practice room.

Andy said: “The support I have had over the past two years has been overwhelming.

“It has been a privilege to work alongside some great bands and singers.

“We have helped record albums, EPs and even shot a few videos which you can see on our Facebook page and on YouTube.

“Last year we had a great night celebrating our first year open and we would like to make the 2017 birthday bash even better.

“It’s free entry so come down and enjoy some great live bands.”

The celebration will feature performances from Filthy Tricks, Hocus Pocus, King Monday, Brett Seldon and a special guest who will not be announced until on the night. It will take place at Newton Social Club in Patterson Street on Saturday. Doors open at 7pm.
