IT must be really good to be Four Year Strong in 2017.

Marking 10 years since their second album, Rise or Die Trying, was released, they are on an extensive tour across Europe and the UK, playing the album in full.

It was a chance for fans of the four-piece pop punk band from Massachusetts to hear the album tracks which rarely played, alongside fan favourites such as Heroes Get Remembered, Legends Never Die.

This raised the energy in the room to such an extent that the crowd ran the risk of flagging after three songs of energetic jostling at the front.

Two of the those supporting were Blackpool based, Boston Manor, and Parisian pop punk band, Chunk! No, Captain Chunk!

Sharing more similarities with tonight's headliners than most of their peers in France, their set was hugely enjoyable taking them through all their releases so far, including their Smash Mouth cover, All Star.

The evening however belonged to Four Year Strong.

The crowd at the full-to-capacity venue indulged in every undeniably catchy chorus and crunching breakdown, which the band have made their staple.

With the album played out, the final third of the set was filled with some of their most popular singles, which signalled many crowd surfers to take to the stage.

An unexpected encore saw Four Year Strong play Wasting Time (Eternal Summer), capping off a great night for feel-good pop punk.
