IRISH country star Nathan Carter has enjoyed so much demand for his upcoming tour that he’s announced more dates,

including a trip to Warrington on November 15.

The tour comes on the back of his 2016 album, Stayin’ Up All Night, which reached number one in the Irish charts. Following on from a year that saw him beat both Beyoncé and Drake to the top spot in his native Ireland, country pop crossover star Nathan announced a huge run of UK tour dates for 2017.

Now one of Ireland’s biggest live music acts, Nathan grew up in a house where country and western music filled the air.

Growing up in Liverpool in the 90s, he was exposed to classic songs by Johnny Cash, Don Williams and Dolly Parton.

He was part of a large Irish family originating from Newry in County Down.

From the age of four, he learned to play guitar, piano and accordion, which now play a vital part in his live shows.

He also quickly became head chorister in the Liverpool Boys’ Choir with which he toured the world and even performed in front of the Pope in Rome.

Nathan launched his solo career in 2007 with his debut album, Starting Out, and he is widely regarded as the musician who made ‘country and Irish’ music accessible to a new generation.

Now his aim is to conquer the UK charts. Despite having three number one albums in Ireland he is yet to get in the top 20 over here.

Nathan Carter performs at the Parr Hall on November 15. Tickets are £26. Visit pyramidparrhall.com or call 442345
