JAMIE T will be playing in Manchester and Liverpool in October.

The singer will be at Olympia in Liverpool on October 13 and Manchester Apollo on October 20.

The five time NME Award-winner and Mercury Award nominee also has a new album on the way which will be out on September 2.

Trick is the 30-year-old's fourth album which is already eagerly anticipated after the release of the lead single, Tinfoil Boy.

The song was named Annie Mac’s Hottest Record and has since been championed on Radio 1, 6 Music and Radio X.

Trick has been inspired by claustrophobic summertime in London and reminiscing about his youth to Clash-like anthems and high-speed raps.

The 12-track album is the follow-up to the Wimbledon-born singer's 2014 record, Carry On The Grudge.

Multi-instrumentalist Jamie, who tours with his backing band The Pacemakers, has been making music since 2005.

His music spans rock and hip hop and he caught the attention of the music world when he beat Thom Yorke and Jarvis Cocker to win the best solo artist at the 2007 NME awards.

Since then he has been often been referred to as a 'one man Arctic Monkey'.

Trick is Jamie's second album since making his comeback in 2014. He took a break from the music scene after releasing The Man's Machine in 2009.

At Benicàssim Festival last year he said: “I went away for a long time, but this has been the best year of my life. We won’t be away again.”

Jamie T performs at Olympia in Liverpool on October 13 and Manchester Apollo on October 20.
