IF you haven’t heard of Hannah Montana or Miley Cyrus - you clearly aren’t a parent, teenage boy or girl, or even breathing.

To explain to those who don’t know, Miley Cyrus is a teenage popstar with her own TV programme where she lives a secret life as pop star Hannah Montana. Oh and her dad is Billie Ray Cyrus - him of ‘Achy Breaky Heart’ fame. Well now Miley is stepping out as herself and she certainly knows her audience.

If I was a 13-year-old girl I would absolutely love this album, full of poppy-rocky songs - it even has one called Wake Up America - asking the country to do its all to tackle global warming.

If anyone can spread the environment message then Miley sure can.

But despite the teen specific songs I can’t wait to hear what Miley might offer in a few years time as her powerful voice is exceptional for a girl who is still only 15-years-old.
