THERE was true blue success for the Cheshire Chord Company at the Ladies Association of British Barbershop Singers Championship.

The vibrant group, based in the town, scooped a silver medal after competing against ladies barbershop choruses from across the country at the event in Harrogate.

The 39-strong group perform a variety of music including traditional close harmony, ballads, contemporary songs and songs from the shows.

There is a mix of people taking part in the chorus from all walks of life, including four sets of mums and daughters.
