Manchester music venue, the Deaf Institute, and Pilot Light TV Festival are hosting a party dedicated to Alan Partridge.

Your best ruddy fancy dress is encouraged for this themed tribute to the best DJ, broadcaster, author and hostage negotiator that Norwich has ever known on Friday, August 3, from 11pm to 3am.

The celebration of Steve Coogan’s comedy creation follows two sell-out Flight of the Conchords club nights at the music hall.

A spokesman for the Deaf Institute said: “Our Alan Partridge P-AHA!-TY will be an immersive experience of Alan’s favourite radio hits and static home grooves, with air bass aplenty and Ladyboys on tap.”

So dust off your tie and blazer badge sets and prepare for a blast of Steeleye Span, Wings and REO Speedwagon.
