WARRINGTON’S Man And The Echo are one of many new acts to have been announced for Manchester’s Neighbourhood Festival.
The indie pop four-piece, who released their self-titled debut album in November, join headliners Peace and Rat Boy on the bill and will be playing at the Refuge Basement on Saturday, October 7, at 9.30pm.
This gig comes midway through the band’s support slot on Irish group The Strypes’ UK tour, and on the back of their own sell-out shows across the UK in February and March.
This is the second year Neighbourhood Festival is taking place, following its launch in 2016, where bands like Blossoms and Circa Waves played to packed crowds.
It will be held at 12 indoor venues across the city centre.
This year’s line-up boasts more than 100 artists, with a wave of up-and-coming acts such as Stockport’s No Hot Ashes, who are signed to Playing With Sound, a record label based in Wilderspool Park.
Winsford’s The Luka State will also be performing, following a headline appearance at Friars Live in July.
Tickets are £30 and can be bought at gigsandtours.com
