WELCOME to a festival with its feet firmly off the ground.
Cotton Clouds is a new one-day event which will take place amid the backdrop of the Peak District at Saddleworth Cricket Club on August 12.
Merseyside band The Coral, who have recorded eight albums over two decades, will grace the main stage as festival headliners.
They will be joined by US hip hop giants The Sugarhill Gang and former Haircut 100 frontman Nick Heyward among many others.
There will also be two indoor stages curated by Tim Peak’s Diner (of Tim Burgess/Charlatans fame) and Jimmy’s Manchester.
Between sets DJ icons Clint Boon and Gareth Brooks will be pumping out some of their favourite anthems.
And there will be a platform for the next generation of north west talent including former Warrington Guardian Hotwired competition winner, Stillia.
Cotton Clouds Festival was dreamed up by Rick and Max Lees who were in the rock and roll outfit Twisted Wheel. Tickets are £39. Visit cottoncloudsfestival.com
