SOME of Warrington’s most creative traders are preparing for a shopping fair at Arley Hall next month.

Simply Cheshire takes place on May 20 and 21 at the venue near Appleton Thorn and welcomes more than 80 exhibitors from every corner of the county who have been chosen not only because of their Cheshire connection but because they produce, make or design something original.

Last week many of the exhibitors came together at Arley to meet each other before the event.

Warrington was represented by Coach House Brewery with their award winning ales, Hunters Gin, Colette Evans Ceramics, LJM Glass, Rachel Wears and Birdie The Campervan photobooth.

Exhibitors had the chance to visit the venue before the event and to network with other artisans from the county.

There will be artists, makers, designers and producers, many of whom will also be demonstrating throughout the weekend.

There’s a chance to meet the makers personally and find out more about their work and influences.

There will be free taster workshops including furniture painting, watercolour painting and stencilling, amazing artisan food and drink, live music, Birdie the campervan photobooth, crafts for children and an opportunity to explore the beautiful gardens at Arley Hall.

Tickets are £8 for adults and £3.50 for children aged 12 to 16. Pre-book tickets in advance to save up to 25 per cent at simplycheshire.co.uk. A percentage of all ticket sales will be donated to The Children’s Adventure Farm Trust.
