FOUR Warrington artists have launched an exhibition coinciding with International Women’s Day.
Beverly Seddon, Janice Lazzarich, Deborah Podmore and Sue Cartwright’s work is on display at The Gallery At Bank Quay House in Sankey Street. The exhibition, simply called Four, showcases a range of handmade ceramics, textiles and painting.
The idea is to shine a spotlight on the talented female artists of Warrington.
Emma Kelly, curator for The Gallery At Bank Quay House, said: “Through their exhibition they aim to unite disparate women in the area and encourage new friendships to be formed, creating a holistic approach to arts in Warrington.”
Beverly Seddon, from Fairfield, organises the artist pop up day as part of Fairfield Fringe. Janice lives in Latchford and also draws from her experiences of living in Cape Town, South Africa.
Deborah teaches ceramics at Fairfield and Howley Neighbourhood project and Sue, from Penketh, teaches art classes in Warrington.
Four is open to the public from Monday to Friday, 9pm to 5pm, and Saturday, 10pm to 3pm, until April 11.
