EXPECT missed cues, forgotten lines, comical gags and a whole host of fun as classic English farce Noises Off heads to the Epstein Theatre.
Showing the unseen side to theatre, the Northern Comedy Theatre production of Michael Frayn’s Noises Off says it is guaranteed to have your ribs aching as audiences watch the hilarity unfold backstage.
It's opening night and the cast are in a frenzy during the final dress rehearsal.
The stage management can’t cope with the pressure, the director is trying to whip them all into shape and the desperately unprepared actors are having problems of their own.
Can they keep it together for their first show?
With a cast including Tom Platt, who originally hails from St Helens before going on to London’s prestigious Guildhall School of Music and Drama, and Vikki Earle, from Liverpool, Noises Off has been described as a 'must-see' production.
Rebekah Pichilingi, Epstein Theatre general manager, said: “We are very excited to welcome this very funny show to the Epstein Theatre which is guaranteed to have the audience rolling in the aisles with laughter.”
Noises Off is at the Epstein Theatre on January 27 at 8pm and at 2pm and 7pm on January 28.
Tickets are £15.50 and available via epsteinliverpool.co.uk.
