BRITAIN'S Got Talent contestant Bailey McConnell has been added to the bill for Oxjam in Stockton Heath.

The 16-year-old singer-songwriter from Milton Keynes will be performing as a joint headline act with pop, dance and rap trio Twelve24.

Altogether there will now be seven acts performing at DWL in London Road including singer Megan Roberts, girl band Daddy Said 2, RnB duo Doremi Fly, singer Harry Cracknell and hip hop artist AloneStar.

But the date of the concert, which will raise money for Oxfam, has been changed from October 30 to November 6 to accommodate Bailey's performance.

BBC Introducing's Misfires have also had to drop out.

Bailey sang his own original songs on Britain's Got Talent in 2014 and since then his fanbase has continued to grow, particularly on social media.

His first EP, Memories, was released in November 2014 and hit the top 10 in the iTunes singer-songwriter chart.

The Oxjam concert has been organised by Vibe Youth Radio which was set up by Daniel Miller from Orford.

Daniel created the internet radio station aimed at listeners aged between 13 and 25 after winning a grant from O2's 'Think Big With O2' project.

His experience comes from setting up Warrington Collegiate's W.A.C Radio last year after being trained by the Student Radio Association at Media City.
