ENTRIES are now being accepted for the Warrington Competition for Young Musicians.
The contest, organised by WACIDOM (Warrington Arts Council Initiative for the Development of Music), has run every two years since 1998.
Entries close on November 14 and the heats take place at Arley Hall in the new year before the final on March 20.
The competition has expanded over the years and now accepts entries based on post codes in Cheshire, Merseyside and parts of Greater Manchester.
All young musicians benefit from help and advice from professionals while there is a prize fund of £1,000 for the winner.
