ROLL up because a group that brings the magic of the circus to disabled, underprivileged and vulnerable children is returning to Warrington.

Now in its 28th year of touring, charitable organisation Circus Starr continues to bring performances to more than 27,000 youngsters and their families.

There will be two shows in Victoria Park in Latchford on September 27 and Warrington businesses are being urged to pledge money towards the free tickets which will be donated to children through the town's community groups.

Neville Wilson, director of Circus Starr, said: "The circus is a magical place and a wonderful arena for inclusion and equality.

"We see time and again how a trip to the circus can change a child’s life."

The big top tour features Mexican clown Chico Rico and the gravity defying Serik brothers with their jaw-dropping act on Chinese pole and straps.

Back by popular demand are the acrobatic Kenyan Warriors who will have audiences cheering from their seats.

Other highlights include the balancing act by Las Chicas Morales on Rolling Globes and Russia's award-winning aerialist Victoria Antipova who will be showcasing her 'corde lisse' skills high in the big top.

Romy Bauer will also be joining Circus Starr with an act performed in a suspended giant globe.

Circus Starr provides more than £1.3 million worth of free tickets to children and their families throughout the UK with a 75-venue tour held three times a year.
