A DJ who plays all over the world and has a residency in Ibiza is coming to Warrington to headline the town's newest clubbing venue.

Sam Divine will perform a set at The Attik Club in Academy Way this Saturday as part of Moov.

The DJ has a summer residency at Amnesia in Ibiza and has long been associated with the house music brand Defected Records.

Paul Nunn runs the Moov events. He is a resident DJ at Warrington's Quarter Bar and recently performed at Manchester's Parklife Festival.

The 38-year-old said: ''I've always been a massive fan of Sam Divine and we're all excited to have Sam come play for us.

"There is certainly a big buzz going around the town about the event in August. Our event in July with Bontan was also a huge success so we're expecting big things from this.

''We also have DJs from around the area onboard too letting them showcase their skills including Holly Clarke, Alan Cassin, John Coady.

"In The Bunker, the newest room in the club we have Tom Davidson, Louis Thompson, Jay Whittaker, Duo Twin Hatz and Manchester Sankeys' DJ Flic.

Sam, from London, went from working in a record shop to touring all over the world including Brazil, Chile, Japan and the Dominican Republic.

In 2009 she became the first female artist to be signed to Defected's DJ agency, after which she began warming up the crowd every week at Mambo for house legends such as Kenny Dope and Frankie Knuckles.

Sam also had her own weekly Defected show on Ibiza global radio.
