The Orielles
For fans of: Veronica Falls, Beach Fossils, Yuck
MOST people come out of a house party with a hangover but sisters Esme and Sidonie Hand-Halford and Henry Wade came out with a band.
The trio met in Halifax and bonded over their shared love of The Beach Boys, Pixies, The Raveonettes and The Breeders and have been crafting lo-fi rock as The Orielles since.
The band have already caught the attention of NME and impressed the music hall team at Manchester’s Deaf Institute.
Esme said: "Right now we’re feeling more creative than ever and are continuing to write some more surfy, garage tunes.
"We’re at the stage where we get tonnes of great feedback at shows and amazing support from fans."
- The Orielles play at the Castle Hotel in Manchester on July 18
