BUDDING actors will be following in the footsteps of the Rolling Stones and the Stone Roses when they tread the boards at Parr Hall.

Around 60 young actors, dancers and singers, aged between 10 and 17, will be taking on Fame on Sunday.

The musical is being performed by the senior section of Little Stars Stage School in Appleton.

Fame is set during the last years of New York City’s celebrated High School for the Performing Arts and is about the hard road to stardom.

Lauren Kelly, who runs Little Stars, said: "The show is really high energy, fun and there's lots of singalong opportunities."

Among Little Stars members is 14-year-old Ruby O’Donnell who plays Peri Lomax in Hollyoaks.
