A FLORIST who launched a house music night to relive her clubbing days is bringing the experience back to Warrington this weekend.
Sammy Dean's ‘A Very Important House Party’ returns to The Apartment in Bold Street on Saturday with K-Klass, Danny Newbold and Adam Wilson.
Meeting in 1988 in legendary Manchester club, the Hacienda, K-Klass cut their teeth playing at the likes of Cream and Ministry of Sound.
Along the way they have had five UK top 40 hits and a Grammy nomination.
Danny Newbold started collecting vinyl when he was 15 and has been part of the underground dance scene for 11 years having landed his first residency in 2001.
Sammy, a former Birchwood High School pupil, decided to relive the clubbing days of her youth after being inspired by her 40th birthday bash.
The idea is to reunite people who put away their dance shoes after starting families and careers.
Sammy said: "I'm really excited to be doing another night. I really hope it will grow into something special, I'm doing this for love of the house music community and I am so grateful to everyone who has supported me in this venture."
