THE Clone Roses are returning to the Parr Hall a year after selling out the venue - this time with support from Warrington bands, The Kingsway and The Forge.

Regarded by many as the UK's number one tribute to the Manchester legends The Stone Roses, The Clone Roses certainly look and sound the part.

Having supported The Happy Mondays and been given the offical' thumbs-up from The Stone Roses' bassist Mani, the band do an expert job of recreating the vibe of a Stone Roses concert.

Lead singer Gavin Scott's voice has been described as uncannily' like the real thing and this is a chance to hear classic tracks from Waterfall and Sally Cinnamon to Fools Gold.

The gig should be the perfect setting for The Kingsway, a group steeped in the passion of northern bands such as Oasis and New Order, while five-piece The Forge boast catchy beats, melodic tunes and relevant lyrics, which have seen them add Liverpool's Cavern Club, the Barfly and The Roadhouse in Manchester to their list of appearances.

Tickets for the gig on June 21 are priced £10.

They are available now from the Parr Hall box office on 442345 and ticketline.co.uk.
