PREPARE your taste buds as Warrington Market plays host to its annual food festival on Saturday.
Cheshire’s best food and drink producers will be pitching up stalls for the day so visitors can have a taste of the region - and the world.
Steve Pickering, market manager, said: “As always, you can expect an amazing selection of items to take away or enjoy on the day, from artisan bread, cheese and gourmet pies to chilli products and tasty local ales.
“Fantastic world foods will be on offer including Mexican, Greek, Moroccan and Mediterranean dishes to name just a few and let's not forget the sweet treats!”
A collection of Warrington’s crafters will host a marquee to showcase unusual handmade items and there will also be a ‘green market’ area where you can find information on living a healthier, more eco-friendly lifestyle.
There will also be chance to watch a cooking demonstration from the ‘Love Food Hate Waste’ team or take a spin on a fairground ride.
