A VINTAGE afternoon tea party is coming to The Mission in Woolston.
Jennifer Perry, who runs Warrington Clandestine Cake Club, is hosting the pop-up event on July 23 to offer dainty finger sandwiches, home baked scones and patisserie and loose leaf teas.
It is part of a promotion of the former Lymm High School pupil's business Room Forty which offers a 1930s-style afternoon tea service in people's homes, parties and workplaces.
The mum-of-two also runs Warrington Clandestine Cake Club which sees baking enthusiasts meeting a few times a year to show off their creations at undisclosed locations.
There will be two afternoon tea sessions at The Mission in Warren Lane at 1pm and 3pm on July 23. Booking early is advised as places are limited.
There will also be live entertainment and a vintage, craft and tea shop.
Jennifer said: "?Dressing up is optional but we find a feather boa, a pretty tea dress and pearls or a nice bowler hat quite charming!
"Following the success of the Clandestine Cake Club, our 'communi’tea’ table is for guests who want to socialise and meet new food loving friends."
Tickets are £17.50 for adults and £6.50 for children over three.? Email hello@roomforty.co.uk
