WHEN it comes to writing crime thrillers, Harlan Coben has no equal among modern day writers.
And his new thriller The Woods, released in hardback, is another triumph from the man made famous by titles such as Promise Me, Gone For Good and Tell No One.
Paul Copeland is a man whose life had been touched by tragedy.
His sister went missing, presumed dead, following a killing spree at a summer camp in the 1970s, his wife died from cancer six years ago and his father has also recently died.
Now as a top prosecutor he finds evidence about the murders at the summer camp where he was also at.
While all this is going on, Cope is trying to raise his daughter and also fight one of the biggest cases of his career, a double rape of an African-American girl.
Again Coben finds the key to hooking a reader in to the tale before finding twist after twist as the story reaches its denouement.
Not to be missed.
