ARE you already dreaming of a White Christmas?
Warrington’s historic Centenary Theatre Company will be getting theatre goers in the festive spirit just days after the town’s Christmas lights switch on with their next production.
From November 14 to 18 the award-winning thespians will be presenting White Christmas at The Brindley in Runcorn. Based on the 1954 feel good film, White Christmas tells the story of two show performers, Bob (Joe Clarke) and Phil (Jake Hankey) who put together an all singing, all dancing event during Christmas 1944, while finding love with a sister act, Judy (Jo Novoa Bradley) and Betty (Hannah Young).
Maria Ames, from Centenary, said: “Filled with dancing, romance and classic comedy this is the perfect gift for the whole family to enjoy.”
But spare a thought for the cast who have been in Christmas mode since June thanks to months of rehearsals.
White Christmas is at The Brindley from November 14 to 18. Performances are at 7.30pm apart from a 2pm Saturday matinee show. Visit thebrindley.org.uk or call 0151 907 8360.
