THE largest children’s festival in the UK arrives at its new home at Arley Hall over the bank holiday weekend.

Geronimo was launched by dad-of-seven Simon Goldman at Tatton Park in 2015. But the three-day event is moving to Arley, near Appleton Thorn, to introduce camping and glamping options.

Headline acts on the live stage will be CBeebies favourite Justin Fletcher, Andy Day, Mr Bloom and pirates Cook and Line from Swashbuckle. Altogether there will be more than 130 activities for youngsters aged between two and 12.

Highlights include Rajasthan’s Elite Street Superstars and the Geronimo Festival Circus.

Guinness World Record holder Jez Avery will be performing his world class Pro BMX and mountain bike stunts at the Show Ground Arena, alongside fire stunt displays and Shetland Pony Grand Nationals.

Active youngsters can burn off some energy with parkour workshops and climbing towers. New for 2017 is the Digital Zone for the YouTube generation and gamers.

And there are all kinds of sensory activities for tots.

Families can now camp or splash out on ready-made luxury glamping options.
