A LATCHFORD family were among the first select few to get a preview of the new-look Legoland Discovery Centre after winning tickets with the Warrington Guardian.

Dad Andy Rothwell took youngsters Connor, eight, Harrison, five, and Toby, aged one, for an exclusive access tour after finding the competition code in the Warrington Guardian newspaper.

They were the first to experience the brand-new Lego Ninjago City Adventure play feature, new modern café and a new bigger and better Creative Workshop, where Lego fans can watch the Legoland Discovery Centre Master Model Builder at work.

Jenn McDonough, general manager, said: “Legoland Discovery Centre is a popular attraction for families, and we wanted to build on that, by offering much more interactive and imaginative play.

"We wanted to give our young visitors an immersive adventure, combined with fantastic play.

"This all new-build is the biggest investment, since launch and we can’t wait for families and children to enjoy it for themselves.”
