DAVID Gest is to host a huge night of music in Warrington on October 6.

The producer and I'm A Celebrity contestant will present 11 American soul legends at the Parr Hall.

David's (I've Had) The Time Of My Life tour will star Bill Medley from the Righteous Brothers in his first UK tour and Sheila Ferguson, the original lead singer of the Three Degrees.

The special night also includes performances by Deniece Williams, The Tymes, Billy Paul, Freda Payne, Cece Peniston, Dorothy Moore, Jean Carne, Atlantic Starr's lead singer Barbara Weathers and Peabo Bryson.

David Gest was born in Los Angeles and grew up in Southern California where he counted Michael Jackson among his childhood friends.

He currently splits his time in England in York and in the States in Memphis, Tennessee.

The TV personality came fourth in the 2006 series of I'm a Celebrity, Get Me out of Here.

Two days after he left the jungle he appeared on the Royal Variety Show in London in front of Prince Charles.

David has also appeared on Soapstar Superstar, Grease Is the Word, The Friday Night Project and Come Dine With Me.
