ASHTONS estate agency’s ‘we love where you live’ campaign has been hitting the road – and the first stop was Great Sankey Primary School.

Lettings negotiator Mollie McGuire and sales negotiator Lucy Milligan visited the children in year five last Tuesday to introduce them to the world of estate agency.

Lucy and Mollie gave them a fun test to help them identify the different types of homes that are available on the market.

They also tested the children’s knowledge on the difference between sales and lettings – and soon found themselves getting asked many intelligent questions.

Lucy said: “We were shocked by their knowledge of the market and how quickly they were able to identify what type of home they live in.

“We also gave them a chance to ask us different questions about our roles and responsibilities within the company.”

As part of Ashtons’ summer campaign, the children were also asked to get creative and design their dream home, making them as colourful as possible.

They drew many different types of homes, from castles to homes of the future, with some even including the property’s surroundings.

The designs have been entered into Ashton’s ‘Dream Home’ competition and are available to view and vote for on the estate agency’s Great Sankey Facebook page.

The picture with the most likes by Wednesday, May 13, 2015, will win its creator a family pass for six to Gulliver’s World.

Lucy added: “We would like to thank year five and the helpful staff for allowing us to visit the school and talk about why we are passionate about the property market.

“And good luck to all the entries.”
