Cheshire Food Festival at Walton Gardens
GET ready to tickle the taste buds at the first Cheshire Food Festival this weekend.
Walton Gardens is the stage for the two-day spectacular which promises to showcase the best food available in the region and beyond.
As well as enjoying tastes from some of the region’s best foods, you can also visit the historic hall which will be themed as a Mad Hatter’s Tea Party, in keeping with the nearby Daresbury birthplace of Alice author, Lewis Carroll.
A spokesman for the festival said: “As well as the opportunity to sample and buy all of the delicious food and drink on offer, there will be a wide range of cooking demonstrations and classes to learn new skills and cooking techniques.
“Set in the grounds of the historic Walton Hall, this is the perfect recipe for a foodie fun day out for the family.”
Visitors can also enjoy craft stalls, workshops and fancy dress prizes.
There will also be a range of foods from around the world to try as well during the extravaganza.
Tickets are £2 per day, free for under 16s, with doors open between 10am and 5pm every day.
