PENKETH WI By Joan Spiby Carry on Cruising was the title of the talk given by soprano singing guest speaker Kath Lewis, Kath told of her experiences and the many and varied interesting people she had met during her years sailing on Cruise Liners. Everyone at the meeting on September 6 truly enjoyed Kath's second visit to Penketh The recent outing to the Southport Flower Show was a great success This will be followed by a visit to Manchester Christmas Market late November.
The Book Club, and Walking group both continue to flourish.
The Annual General Meeting will take place on October 3.
