Cyclist mugged in Orford
3:17pm Tuesday 1st November 2011 in Orford
TWO muggers broke the ribs of a cyclist during an attack in Orford.
The 22-year-old was riding along South Avenue on October 15 at 6.10am when he passed two men.
One punched him in the face, knocking him from his bike.
He started to go through the pockets of the victim.
When on the floor he was kicked by the second attacker, breaking three ribs.
An elderly man then challenged the muggers who fled towards Shaws Avenue empty handed.
Both wore dark hooded tops.
