LYMM chef Aiden Byrne has scooped a top national award in a seven-hour cookery contest.
Owner of The Church Green in the village, he mentored his winning candidate Rohan Nevins from the MacDonald Bath Spa Hotel, in the Visionary Dining Chef of the Year 2011 event in Kendal.
