£100,000 funding for Daresbury company

DARESBURY company Sky Medical Technology has been selected to receive funding worth up to £100,000.
The company, based at the Daresbury Science and Innovation Park, is one of eight firms selected to develop technologies to support people with long term health conditions.
The scheme is supported by NHS East of England, the European Regional Development Fund and the Technology Strategy Board and the East of England Small Business Research initiative.
Sky Medical Technology has developed the OnPulse, a technology platform to help reduce the incidence of Deep Vein Thrombosis.
