£40,000 earmarked for refurb at Collins Green play area

WORK has been completed at Collins Green play area after it was earmarked for a £40,000 refurbishment.
The site now has new equipment for children of all ages, courtesy of recycling company Wren.
The money was generated by Waste Recycling Group landfill operations via the Landfill Communities Fund.
Projects applying for grants from Wren need to be located within 10 miles of a WRG landfill site, in this case Arpley, and are assessed by a panel of experts.
