Attempted murder charge for Culcheth man

A MAN has appeared in court charged with attempted murder and breeching his anit-social behaviour order.
Marc Ashbrook, 23, is accused of stabbing John McKenna at the White Barn pub in Cuddington near Northwich on Friday.
Ashbrook, of Ash Road, Cuddington, made no plea and bail was refused when he appeared at Vale Royal Magistrates Court in Northwich yesterday, Monday.
The court heard he was now living with his mother and her partner in Warrington Road, Culcheth.
His case was adjourned to Chester Crown Court where he will reappear on Tuesday.
