IF you are interested in going on a glow-worm walk on July 19 with the hope of seeing some bats also, as well as a trip to a pub, you should phone Alan Gudge on 01494 881464 for further details.
REMEMBER that Saturday, July 7, is when Ann Trew will be officiating for the first time in Hambleden church at 10am. After the service refreshments will be served in the village hall. All the family is most welcome.
MARY Butler is hoping to hear from you with offers to help at this year's village fete. As usual the fete is on August Bank Holiday Monday and you can run a stall for a charity of your choice or for the village hall funds. Please ring Mary on 01494 881379 as soon as possible.
WOULD you like to support the Iain Rennie Hospice at Home group by having a go at a 200 question quiz? There are questions of all types and you have until February to complete the quiz. Only £1 entry fee and the questions may be purchased from the IRHH bookshop at 15 Castle Street, High Wycombe. The first prize is a Kodak Advantix camera. The main thing, though, is that your entry would provide valuable funds for the organisation.
