  • Sarah Jones, 35 & John Barnes, 42 - VOTE 1217

It was definitely NOT love at first sight. I took one look at him and thought, ‘no, not my type.’ But 12 years on and two gorgeous children later, we are still in love and still ‘living together’. As for getting hitched we have not got round to it yet, we wouldn’t want a special day spoiled by a big worrying debt. Wincham Hall looks like the perfect wedding venue, so, readers please, make our dream day come true. read more

  • Peter Hamlet, 30 & Sarah Clarke, 22 - VOTE 1216

Peter says: ‘My partner Sarah is the most generous, unselfish person I know. We plan to marry when we can afford it. We are currently buying an ex-council house. Sarah asks for nothing, she’s a giver, not a taker. She’s the godmother of her friend’s son, whose father was sadly killed in a car accident. She also loves and treats my own daughter from a previous relationship as her own. She’s a lifeguard and teaches children to swim. She is stunning without make up, a real Cinderella.’ read more

  • Jennifer Auty, 24 & Adam Brooke, 25 - VOTE 1215

Myself, and my partner would love to win a wedding at Wincham Hall because it would truly be our dream wedding, and we cannot afford such a fantastic day on our own. We met when we were 17, we were childhood sweethearts and I really believe we are soulmates. We really want to complete our commitment and love for each other but cannot afford such a special day. I have been waiting eight years for the chance to share my moment with family and friends and really want my memories to include Wincham Hall. read more

  • Niall Ross, 33 & Dawn Judson, 30 - VOTE 1214

We have been planning our big day for three years and were hoping to have an October wedding, however I think it will have to be put on hold for financial reasons. Having two young children takes up most of our time and now our company has announced that we will be made redundant in August so we have had to re-asses our plans. Being able to marry Dawn at this venue would be the best present ever. read more

  • Penny Humphreys, 54 & Arthur Juliff, 50 - VOTE 1213

Nominated by Emma Birchall. I wish to enter my son’s Grandparents in the competition. Penny and Arthur have been together for 18 years and finally got engaged on Valentine’s Day 2008. Over their time together they have grown to be a truly remarkable couple. They are there for each other, family and friends through happy or troubled times without question. Their love for each other is totally endless and now needs binding by wedding rings. It is clear to all that know them that they are still deeply in love and I don’t now any couple that could deserve this prize more. read more

  • Jason Gooley, 32 & Samantha Brunt, 33 - VOTE 1211

My partner and I have been together for 17 years and remain unmarried. We share three beautiful children and would like the opportunity to express our feelings for each other in front of close family and friends. Unfortunately, my partner hasn’t worked since June last year and required an operation, which will restrict his future work. It has been a trying time and we have weathered many emotions. It would be a one in a million chance to cement our love for one another and our children. We have proved we can handle anything, we are indestructible! read more

  • Victoria Ley, 27 & Stuart Makin, 32 - VOTE 1210

Stu and I met 10 years ago, I was 16, and we knew instantly we would share our lives together. We began planning our wedding four years ago, but sadly my mum, grandma and grandpa passed away suddenly. I couldn’t imagine getting married without them. It was a dark time for me, and the one thing that got me through was Stu. He is my partner, my rock, and most importantly my best friend. I can’t explain what it would mean to win this competition. It’s my way of thanking Stu for all that he has done for me. read more

  • Joanne Litherland, 26 & Jason Smith, 25 - VOTE 1209

We were due to marry at Wincham Hall and it was my dream wedding. Unfortunately we split up back in August and the wedding was cancelled. I was so upset it was like my world had ended. We moved on but then realised how much we loved one another and later got back together. We still wanted to get married but couldn't afford Wincham Hall. Now I am expecting our second child. It is our dream to marry at Wincham Hall. Winning this competition would mean the world and give us a chance to prove we are so in love. read more

  • Malgosia Myrta, 28 & Richard Milbank, 23 - VOTE 1208

We crossed the oceans to meet each other. I am from Poland and Richard is from South Africa. He is my toyboy and my soul mate. We met when I was in another relationship, when we were both working in the same company and when both our lives were an eternal struggle. It was only a matter of weeks before we decided that we would be together and now we cannot imagine it being any other way. We want to make an eternal commitment to one another, and do so in the country where we first stumbled upon each other. read more

  • Michelle Holland, 26 & Andrew Senior, 26 - VOTE 1207

Myself, and my partner Andy have been together for approximately eight years and engaged for five. We have been through a lot of ups and downs and are still going strong. We have a beautiful child together, he always comes first and always will, so at this point we can’t afford the wedding we have always wanted. We would really love the chance to win our dream wedding. We don’t want a huge wedding, just a special a day with our family and close friends. So please, please help us to have the wedding of our dreams. read more

  • Sarah Dewison, 18 & James Thornhill, 20 - VOTE 1206

We met in September 2004, a few days before James joined the Army. Now three years on, we are still together and love each other unconditionally. We may be young but we have been through so much together. James is away a lot so I only see him at weekends. Last year he went to Afghanistan, it was heartbreaking. James proposed on Christmas day by the side of a lake, it was so romantic. James is the most thoughtful, caring and loving person. I would love to marry James so we can be together all the time, not just weekends. read more

  • Salli Salminen, 39 & Geoff Page, 52 - VOTE 1205

I went on holiday to Finland last year and my ex-boss told me he had found the boyfriend for me. He gave me the telephone number to contact him on when I was back in England. I texted Geoff and we arranged a blind date on August 19, 2007, in Coventry. We were the perfect match. In three months I had changed my work and moved to Middlewich to live together with Geoff. I proposed to Geoff on February 29, and he said yes. read more

  • Byron Stanley, 24 & Kathleen McBride, 24 - VOTE 1204

We feel we should win this competition because ever since meeting seven years ago, sparks have flown between us and we’ve been inseparable. We roamed the world together, even spending two years in Japan, and fell more and more in love with every step. The idea of wedding my fiancée on top of Mt. Fuji pales in comparison to sanctifying our union in the surrounds of the stunning Wincham Hall. I’m a local boy, born and raised in Wincham and marrying the love of my life a mere mile from my childhood home would be a dream come true. read more

  • Susannah Crook, 30 & Eric Mugweza, 25 - VOTE 1203

Nominated by Rebecca Smith. I would like to nominate my sister and her fiancee, whom I feel deserve to win the dream-wedding package. Susannah gave up her special needs teaching job in 2006 to go to Africa to work voluntarily with special needs children. For the past 18 months she has lived a very basic lifestyle, earning very little money. She is returning home in the spring with Eric, to set up home here. They will have had a very basic wedding ceremony in Africa. A more luxurious celebration would be a lovely surprise for them. read more

  • Toni Stennett, 30 & Paul Green, 39 - VOTE 1202

We have booked our wedding three times, but each time had to cancel. The first, in Sri Lanka, was stopped when the Tsunami struck. The second was postponed when a civil war broke out in Sri Lanka. When I fell pregnant, we had to cancel our third planned wedding in Venezuela. We have booked to get married in England on August 30, but I booked this after pressure from my family and we are unlikely to be able to afford it. Despite this, we still want to get married more than ever! read more

  • Rebecca Brown, 40 & Garry Carter, 43 - VOTE 1201

We have been together for nine years and engaged for eight. With children from previous relationships, we have always put them first and as such have never had the money to organise our own wedding. If we were to win this wonderful prize it would really make our year. I love Garry very much and it would be wonderful to tell him that we are eventually going to get married. He is always telling me that he would marry me tomorrow if we had the money, just tomorrow never comes. read more

  • Heather Grunwell, 22 & Ben Orlowski-Hatton, 29 - VOTE 1200

To win our dream wedding would be a miracle as the last few months have been a nightmare. We have been engaged for two years and were in the process of booking our wedding for early 2009 when our apartment burnt down. We lost everything. It could take at least two years for the insurance to come through, so we had to use our savings to purchase everything again. With no savings left, it will be 2012 at the earliest before we can be wed, so to win this wedding would be truly amazing. read more

  • Sarah Andrews, 30 & Mark Buckley, 29 - VOTE 1199

Nominated by Andrina Shaw. I am entering Sarah and Mark in this competition because the bride to be Sarah, is such a kind and thoughtful person and she deserves the best wedding possible. Mark proposed to her on Christmas Day, after six years together. Sarah was overjoyed. I want them to have the opportunity to have a perfect wedding with all their friends and family around them. Sarah has waited so long for Mark to propose that if they win this she will be able to have the wedding sooner than expected. read more

  • Beverley Caldwell, 45 & Phil Hocknull, 42 - VOTE 1198

We met on March 12, 2006, after both just splitting up from long-term partners. We'd exchanged a couple of emails on an Internet dating site. We met at a pub for coffee, then went to Chester and walked along the river, then went for a meal, as neither of us wanted the day to end. Before we knew it two weeks had gone by without us not seeing each other at all. We've had the most fantastic two years together and the icing on the cake will be the day I become his wife. read more

  • Stuart Morris, 30 & Jennifer Hampson, 34 - VOTE 1197

Jennifer deserves the biggest day possible, as she is so wonderful, kind hearted and the most adorable partner and mum in the world. We have been together for three and a half years and she has made me feel the happiest man alive. She is a doting mother to her two daughters and pregnant with our child, which is due any time. It would truly be unbelievable to become a proper family together, celebrating with all our family and friends. This would make both our dreams come true. read more
