  Broomfield, Alan Suddenly at home, on 9th February, aged 81 years. Alan was married for nearly 50 years to the late Winifred. He leaves three children, five grandchildren and was looking forward to a great grandad in May. He taught for many years at St. Oswald's School where he became deputy head. He then moved to become head at a school in St. Helens The funeral takes place at 10.00am on 9th February at St Oswald's and then to Walton Lea Crematorium.
